The book “Childirli Ashug Irfani” has been published

The compiler of the book “Childirli Ashug Irfani (poems, eposes, legends)” published by the Institute of Folklore ANAS is Ali Shamil, the scientific editors Ph.D. Elkhan Mammadli, Ph.D. Seyfaddin Altayli, editor is Afiz Veysogludur.
Childirli Ashug Irfani has been known in the memories as the composer ashug. The ashug melody known as his name “Irfani” after 1950-1960s was named as “Ruhani” in the press, radio-television. The ashug’s poems were spread, collected and not investigated in details. In the book the ashug’s poems, eposes-legends have been included. Suleiman with the nickname Ashug Irfani lived during the 18th-19th centuries in the region of Akhisga-Childir, influencing to his contemporary and followers very much, and his poems have been published as in the form of a book for the first time.
