The book “Zagatala folklore examples” has been published
The book “Zagatala folklore examples” by Ph.D. Zumrud Mansimova has been published. The editor-in chief of the book is Ph.D., Associate Professor Matanat Yagubgizi. In the book the folklore examples such as seasonal-ceremonial, daily life-ceremonial traditions, quatrains, riddles, legends, jokes, anecdotes, tales, eposes collected from the Zagatala region, including the villages Gimir, Chobankol, Bazar, Mukhakh, Suvagil, Gozbarakh, Yuxari Chardakhlar, Tala, Gandakh, Faldar, Aliabad, Muganli, Yengiyan, Jar, Mamrikh, Zayam, Bahmadli have been reflected.
The jokes among the genres included in the book are especially differed. Each region in Azerbaijan has its own famous joke master, such as in Shaki Haji dayi, in Garabag Abdal Gasim, etc., Hudul kishi from the village Yukhari Chardakhlar in Zagatala can be named as the humorist man of the region.
The poems and eposes such as “Ashug Huseyn from Aleybadli”, “Bahrinaz and Ashug Madat”, “Tale and Ashug Madat” by folk poets and ashugs of the region have been included into the book.
