The collaborations are expanded with Upper Alzas University of France
Upper Alzas University in Milhous city of France has relations with Haydar Aliyev Fund, the Ministry of Education of Azerbaijan Republic, Baku International Multiculturalism Centre near the President of Azerbaijan Republic and with other some scientific organizations in Azerbaijan. As a result of this relationship the chair Literature and culture named after Nizami Ganjavi and Mahsati Ganjavi’s hall have formed in the Upper Alzas University. In the philological faculty of the university Azerbaijan literature and the Azerbaijani language are taught, the different symposiums about Azerbaijan-France scientific-cultural relations are held.
One of the scientific organizations is the Institute of Folklore ANAS which has collaborations with the Upper Alzas University. Pyer Tiluan’s role in this collaboration is very high, he has composed some musical works to Khojaly tragedy and the 31st March in 1918 massacre. Visiting the Institute of Folklore ANAS many times lately the composer has composed the symphonic poem on the base of the plot of the epos “The Book of Dede Gorgud” with the request of the leadership of the Institute.
On the eve of the international scientific symposium on the theme “Multiculturalism, internationalism and the national values: on the example of the Caucasian nations” in the Upper Alzas University in November in 2016 the dean of the philological faculty of the Upper Alzas University Greta Komur Tilua, Tatyana Musinova, Nikoli Dzyub, Inkar Karamayeva came to the Institute of Folklore in order to plan the collaboration activity. According to the first agreement the organizer of the presences of the scientists from Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Iran, Turkey, Serbia, Russia was the Institute of Folklore ANAS.
On the 5th-6th December in 2016 the symposium on the theme “Multiculturalism, internationalism and the national values: on the example of the Caucasian nations” started in the Upper Alzas University. In the symposium the ambassador of Azerbaijan in France Elchin Amirbayov also took part, there were many scientists from eleven countries.
The director of the Institute of Folklore ANAS, the correspondent member of ANAS, professor Mukhtar Kazimoglu-Imanov (“The struggle motif with the death angel in the epos “The Book of Dede Gorgud”), the chairman of the department Education, associate professor, Ph.D. Afag Khurramgizi (“Azerbaijan Lahijs and multiculturalism”), Ali Shamil (“From the history of investigating “The Book of Dede Gorgud” in Azerbaijan”), Aynur Gazanfargizi (“Dede Gorgud” and kumuk folklore”), associate professor, Ph.D. Sonmaz Abbasli (“The translation problems of the epos “The Book of Dede Gorgud” into the foreign languages”) took part in the symposium and had their reports successfully.
