The scientific worker of the Institute of Folklore took part in the International Scientific Symposium

The senior scientific worker of the department “Folklore of Turkic nations” of the Institute of Folklore ANAS Ph.D. Tahir Nasib took part in the international symposium called “The First Turkey-Azerbaijan relations among nations” held on the 12 th -14 th of May in 2016 in the city Kastomonu of Turkey.

About 120 reports were listened to in the symposium, the exchange of thoughts about the different branches of the relations – history, tourism, geography, etc. and modern process in the world among the Turkic nations were carried out. In the symposium Ph.D. Tahir Nasib had a report on the theme “Ural-Altay mythological sources of the song “Sari gelin”. The report was interesting for the participants of the symposium.
