The scientific workers of the Institute of Folklore took part in the symposium “The progress of Silk way”
From the 2 nd of March till the 7 th of March in the capital of Turkey in Ankara the international symposium called “The progress of Silk way and the scientific feast of Turkic world” was celebrated. The symposium has been organized by Turkic Centers Organization and the journal “Yurd bilgisi”. The aim of the organization is to strengthen the scientific-cultural relations of Turkic world, to investigate the common culture, to study the material and spiritual values, to determine the ways of transmitting them to the future generations without loss and hurtles.
The opening ceremony and meetings were realized at Ankara National Library. Ph.D.Agaverdi Khalilov and Ph.D. Aynur Gazanfargizi took part there with the themes such as “The signs of Silk way in Turkic eposes and the motif “caravan” and “The importance of Silk way in the development of Kumuk culture and in the influence to the nations in Dagestan ”.
The themes are planned to be published in the journal “Silk way”. More than hundred scientists from the different countries such as Iran , Kazakhstan , Uzbekistan , Tatarstan, and Crimea took part in the symposium. The themes by Professor Salahaddin Khalil, Abulfaz Suleymanli, Mahir Bayramov and etc. were very interesting.
