Our employee participated in an international conference
Khalida Mammadova, a senior researcher of the Department Dede Gorgud of Institute of Folklore, participated in the “8th International Taras Shevchenko Social Science Conference” held in Ankara on August 7-09, 2022. She made a report on the theme “Patriotic poet T.G.Shevchenko” at the conference. In her report she extensively analyzed the artistic creativity of Shevchenko, who introduced the Ukrainian people to the world. It was mentioned that the main idea line of Shevchenko’s activity, known as a patriot and a hero related to the life of enslaved Ukrainians. According to the reporter’s note, from the 30s of the 20th century, rebellious poems translated into Azerbaijani Turkish, artistic creations dedicated to the unique beauties of Ukrainian nature are still relevant today. The speaker mentioned that she carried out the research based on the translations made by M.Mushfig, A.Javad, S.Rustam, M.Rzaguluzade, A. Abdulla and so on.
