Head of the Department of the Institute of Folklore Agaverdi Khalil took part in the II International Ethno-fashion festival
“Fashion of life-cultural code”
On the 3rd-5th of August in 2022 in the city of Kazan of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Ministry of Culture of Tatarstan, the Resource Center for the Application of Innovations in the Cultural Sphere of the Republic of Tatarstan, the Academy of Sciences of Tatarstan, the Kazan Federal University and the World Tatar Congress jointly organized the “Fashion of life-cultural code” within the framework of the II International Ethno-fashion Festival the international conference was held on the topic “Epic constant of modern culture: problems of preservation and popularization of national eposes”. In addition to the Russian Federation, scientists from a number of foreign countries took part in the conference.
Agaverdi Khalilov, Head of the Department of “Ceremonial Folklore” of Institute of Folklore, gave a speech at the conference entitled “The role of the epos in the preservation and transmission of the concepts of cultural institution and moral value”. Specialists participating in the conference discussed the problems of preservation of traditional culture, including epos, in modern times. As a result of the discussion, the importance of protecting humanitarian institutions was emphasized, the importance of increasing state support for scientific-research institutions that study and popularize moral values was noted, the scientific resolution was prepared expressing the importance of protecting the epos and conveying the humanist ideas and values of statehood carried in it to future generations without loss or damage.
