Elchin Galiboglu spoke about the cult of “horse” in Turkish mythological thought
Leading researcher of the Mythology Department of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS, Doctor of Philosophy in Philology Elchin Galiboglu gave an interview to the program “Morning” of Culture channel AzTV. The image of a horse in Turkish mythological thought was discussed in the interview. It was mentioned that Turkish nature had been able to interpret it by nature since ancient times. Horse - for the ancestors meant everything in this sense. The horse is as strong as it is tender. During the interview the issue of the image of the horse was touched upon not only in folklore, but also in world literature. It was spoken about the unique qualities of Karabakh horses. At the same time it was also mentioned that we were the eternal inhabitants of those lands.
