The leading researcher of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS, PhD in Philology Elchin Galiboglu was a guest of the “Word Pattern” program of the Azerbaijan Radio. In the program it was spoken about the image of a horse in Azerbaijani folklore. It was mentioned that Turkish nature has been able to interpret it from ancient times. In Turkish mythological thought,the horse was at the root of a creative, secure relationship, which was due to the fact that it was a reliable helper in all areas of ancestral life, especially in wars. Horse - in this sense for the ancestors meant everything. The horse is as strong as it is delicate.
The program, authored by well-known writer Gunel Natig, presents conclusions about horses in various genres of Azerbaijani folklore in the voice of well-known announcer, People’s Artist Eldost Bayram.
