The event “Science from today to tomorrow” was held at the Institute of Folklore

On the 30th of March 30 in 2022 the event entitled “Science from today to tomorrow” in connection with the Science Day was held at the Institute of Folklore ANAS. The event was attended by employees of the Folklore Institute, as well as students of Sumgayit State University. Opening the event, Chair of the Council of Young Scientists and Specialists of the Folklore Institute, Khanim Mirzayeva mentioned that the Science Day, celebrated every year in Azerbaijan, was a holiday of the Azerbaijani scientific community engaged in science. On the 9th of April in 2018 President Ilham Aliyev signed a decree on the establishment of “Science Day” in the Republic of Azerbaijan, taking into account the importance of science in the development of society. Khanim Mirzayeva noted that that date was of special importance because it coincided with the day of the establishment of ANAS. She also mentioned that the state paid great attention to the development of science in our country. Students of Sumgayit State University, who took part in the event, mentioned that along with education, scientific activity also played an important role in the development of their careers.
