Ilhama Gasabova took part at the event dedicated to the genocide of Azerbaijanis on March 31

The event dedicated to March 31 - the genocide of Azerbaijanis was held at the City Public Library named after M.A.Sabir on the 30th of March organized by the Baku Main Department of Culture. After a minute of silence in memory of the victims of the genocide and all our martyrs, a slide reflecting the history of the genocide was presented at the event. Leading researcher of the Institute of Folklore of ANAS, Doctor of Philosophy in Philology, Associate Professor Ilhama Gasabova also took part in the event.
During her speech, our colleague noted that Armenians massacred the population of Khojaly in 1905 and in 1918 tortured and killed the population of the region for the second time. According to eyewitnesses, the documents of the Extraordinary Commission of Inquiry stated that in March 1918 in Baku more than 15,000 innocent Muslims were killed by with the Dashnaks, Bolsheviks, Mensheviks and other parties.
