Our employee gave a “Master class” at Baku State University
On the 30th of March in 2022, PhD., associate professor Sonmez Abbasli gave a “Master class” on the theme “Azerbaijani anecdotes” organized by the Department of Azerbaijan Oral Folk Literature, Faculty of Philology at Baku State University. She said that anecdotes known by various terms among most peoples, as an independent genre of folklore, have always been on the agenda of the narrator-listener generation. One of the issues on the agenda has always been the exposure of the ruling class at different historical stages, including the shortcomings and deficiencies in the socio-political structure, through popular satire and humor. During her speech associate professor Sonmez Abbas also mentioned about the collection and publication of anecdotes.
