On the 1st of March in 2022 the responsible person on public relations of the Institute of Folklore ANAS, PhD, associate professor Sonmez Abbasli was a guest on the live broadcast of the program “Seher chagi” on Medeniyyet TV. Speaking about Fire Tuesday, our colleague mentioned about the history of the pre-Tuesdays, the celebrated ceremonies, beliefs about fire, proverbs, oaths and curses. During the program S.Abbasli also recalled the games and fortune-telling performed on Fire Tuesday.
