On the 8th of February the senior scientific worker of the Institute of Folklore ANAS, PhD Elchin Galiboglu was a guest of the program “Jan Azerbaijan” in a live broadcast of Public Radio. About the essence of Azerbaijan folklore was talked in the program and the people’s thoughts, life, culture found expression in folklore since ancient times. Folklore is the primary culture, way of thinking, systematic view of the world, life, nature, human of the people. Today there is a serious interest in such ancient traditions in the world at a high level of development of computer technology. As well as, the history of collecting the folklore of Azerbaijan was talked about, the issue of variants of the text of folklore was touched upon and it was emphasized that the claim of Armenians to the questions of Azerbaijan folklore continued is unreasonable and illogical.
E.Galiboglu noted that the collection and research of our folklore was carried out at the Institute of Folklore and numerous publications were published every year.
