Academician Mukhtar Kazimoghlu-Imanov and deputy Aziz Alakbarli were awarded with Jubilee Medal “Ashig Alasgar-200”

On the 29th of December 2021 the meeting dedicated to the 200th anniversary of Master Ashig Alasgar was held at the International Mugham Center. At the meeting attended by well-known intellectuals, deputies and art figures “Dede Alasgar Ojagi” public union awarded the “Ashiq Alasgar 200” Jubilee Medal to those who had a special service in the development of Azerbaijani ashig poetry, actively participated in the promotion of this art and achieved success. General Director of the Institute of Folklore ANAS, academician Mukhtar Kazimoglu-Imanov and leading researcher of Dede Gorgud department of the institute, member of Parliament Aziz Alakbarli were also awarded.
